Our approach to personal home care in Windsor-Essex is like no other. We know that in order to improve an individual’s quality of life, physical, mental, social and emotional stimulation must all be included. Therefore, our specially trained caregivers, whom we refer to as Comfort Keepers, learn how to transform everyday activities into opportunities to exercise one’s mind, body and memories. We call this system Interactive Caregiving™ and it helps develop a true friendship between the Comfort Keeper and client, it preserves the individual’s independence and contributes to a better life.

Comfort Keepers of Windsor, Ontario’s breadth of senior care services includes senior companionship and personal care services, light housekeeping and meal preparation, to more specialized services for those with dementia and end of life care needs. We assist with transportation to and from doctor’s appointments, the grocery store, and the pharmacy. If more around the clock care is needed, Comfort Keepers Windsor does provide 24-hour or Live-In services. For those, especially Veterans, we provide assistance with completing the necessary paperwork for subsidized home care. Our office also has Vision Loss Services. We partnered with the Canadian National Institute for the Blind to provide specially trained care assistants who help seniors and the elderly with vision loss, helping to maintain their independence and remain in their homes.
