Happy Anniversary!

This past December was our one-year anniversary of taking over the Comfort Keepers Calgary location. It has been an interesting and rewarding year but also one of many challenges.

One of the immediate challenges we faced was the need to rebuild our team. We had staff turnover, but we have been fortunate to recruit some amazing people to fill out our team.

COVID, while heavily hitting our business has given us the ability to streamline our business so we will be able to come back strong from this pandemic!

Our awesome clients and their families make this worthwhile, we have had great feedback this year. Helping out in a crisis is what we do best and our care staff have really stepped up this year to help our clients.

Our goal for 2021 is to get back to some semblance of normality. We hope to return to see some clients that put us on hold due to COVID.  We look forward to welcoming new clients who will get the same great service!

On reflecting over the past year, I have to admit that just when I thought ‘it can’t get any worse’, it did, lol. Onwards and upwards! It’s been a strange and challenging year, but we have risen to it, taking over a business just before a pandemic wasn’t the best of timing but I think we have handled it well. I am extremely proud of what our team has accomplished. I know it will continue for 2021 and we will keep improving to help our clients as well.

For every client, our Comfort Keepers team does a thorough home evaluation to minimize hazards in the home. Our caregivers can help with mobility issues, provide transportation to scheduled appointments, and support physician-prescribed exercise regimens and diets. And, our goal is to elevate the spirits of our clients and their families every day. As part of an individualized care plan, caregivers can also help with activities like cooking, cleaning and physical care.
