Covid-19 | July 9, 2021
Life has changed. Our patterns have changed, our perspective has changed. Sometimes we can wonder if things will ever go back as they were before.
It raises the question of post-Covid life. What has changed and what has remained. How it has affected our life.
The pandemic has thought us many things. Things that actually matter to us. Not what we think matters.
The pandemic has shown us how valuable is our family. It’s what matters the most, not our job, not the club that you go to, not how much money you make. It’s the people around you that matter. We have to make sure that our families are our number one priority.
Prioritize your health, if anything the pandemic has thought to us is that, we shouldn’t take health for granted. In the initial stage of Covid, the world has suffered a lot. We have lost lives, too many lives we can count.
Those who had less immunity suffered the most and those who are elders lost their lives. It was difficult to see the population being wiped out by the pandemic.
Mask has been a part of life ever since the pandemic has started. We have to wear masks if we step outside, It is mandatory. A mask can reduce the chance of getting Covid up to 70%.
Few states in the US have removed the restriction of wearing the mask. However the majority of the country, you still have to wear your mask if you step outside.
The office culture has completely changed. Now that big companies like Google and Microsoft are asking their employees to work from home. The pandemic has changed the work culture. Now with a wifi connection and a laptop. You can work from anywhere in the world and work for anyone in the world.
Mental health is one of the hot topics discussed during the pandemic. People suffered severe mental issues like depression and anxiety as after-effects of the Covid-19. This has led to many issues such as suicide. Mental health is really important if you are a senior, the chances of being under the influence of depression are high during your old age.
Make sure you are surrounded by people you love and care about.
We are living a too-busy life. Always running and in pursuit of something. Money, fame, success. Don’t get me wrong, it’s completely okay to do it. But, it’s unhealthy if we are too invested in it. We are always chasing and trying to get something we don’t have and we often forget we have and we don’t appreciate it enough.
If the pandemic has thought us anything, No matter how much we plan things and how much we think we figure life out. We always can go wrong. The pandemic is an example of that.
Take a moment to appreciate what a wonderful gift life is!
