Meet Our Comfort Keepers of Edmonton. our staff help us provide care to our elderly residents in and around Edmonton. As the face of our company, we only choose the very best Comfort Keepers providers to represent our company which is why we have an extensive hiring and placement process. Each Comfort Keeper goes through a strenuous screening process which includes a series of interviews, background checks, and educational courses to ensure that they can provide the very best care and attention to our seniors
Only those who pass this process go on to complete training to deliver our special brand of care – and become Comfort Keepers. Our caregivers also pass extensive background checks and receive continuing education. Our Comfort Keepers are bonded, insured and covered by Workers’ Compensation insurance. This protects our clients and their families – and because they are Comfort Keepers employees, we take care of their payroll taxes. Abraham and Rekha, both being healthcare professionals, were looking for an opportunity to use their skills together to provide client-centered care primarily to seniors or anyone needing that extra care.
Rekha is a Licensed Practical Nurse with over 10 years of working experience and is pleased to continue caring for seniors. Her compassion and dedication to client care are a natural fit with Comfort Keepers.
Abraham has been a practicing Pharmacist for over 20 years. He has always been passionate about working with and caring for his senior patients.
When not working they both enjoy spending time with their two children as well as friends and family. Rekha and Abraham are both excited about partnering with Comfort Keepers and bringing their experience to Edmonton and surrounding areas.
Tammy joined the Comfort Keepers team in 2014 having 20 years in the home care industry. She is the Scheduler for our caregivers and clients along with performing other office admin duties. She is a certified PSW in Ontario. When not busy with clients and caregivers, Tammy enjoys being a grandmother and renovating her home. She also keeps busy with her two “fur” babies.
I received my training and schooling in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. I want to be a comfort keeper because I love to care and enjoy spreading joy. I enjoy camping, being outside around a fire roasting marshmallows with my family. My family brings me joy.
