What Does the Job Entail?

In one of our countless senior home care jobs, you’ll be able to assist adults and older citizens in need from the comfort of their own homes, or you’ll be able to accompany them to a nursing home or hospital. Whatever their needs are, you will serve as their gateway to our vital in-home elder care services. 

In Kitchener and Waterloo cities, Comfort Keepers offers a variety of services, including but not limited to:

• Accompanied Incidental Transportation
• Social and Recreational Activities
• Meal Preparation and Medication Reminders
• Laundry and Light Housekeeping
• Assistance with Feeding, Bathing, and more

Companion Caregiver-Homemaker

Responsible for non-medical, in-home support services which provide for the comfort, safety, and general supervision of clients as well as home management services.  Provides companionship to those individuals requiring socialization and/or minimum guidance to assure a safe, protected, clean, and orderly environment.

Personal Care Aide-Personal Support Worker

In addition to the duties of a Companion Caregiver, as above, provides personal care and support services which assist with the activities of daily living. Examples include Bathing, Grooming, Hygiene, Mobility Assistance, Transferring, Positioning, Toileting, Incontinence Care, assistance with Feeding, and more.
