What We Do to Help

Dementia Care

Our home health care providers are trained and have in-depth experience in Alzheimer’s disease and dementia care. They are equally trained to intertwine that care, along with our Interactive Caregiving system. This system of care allows the caregiver to familiarize themselves with the aging adult on a personal note. The Comfort Keeper learns about the life of the senior, their likes and dislikes. During the process of developing a relationship, the provider stimulates the client mentally and physically by engaging him in activities that work to develop or establish a creative mindset and happiness. The caregiver spends time with the senior doing things such as browsing family photos, listening to old stories, reading a favorite book aloud or discussing recent events.

Engaging seniors with memory loss illnesses in physical and mental activities helps to decrease challenging behavior, which helps them to remain tranquil and safe.
