Director of Operations — August 2024

We are currently looking for that special someone for the role of ‘Director of Operations’.  This is a new position to be added the Comfort Keepers Office, providing senior level coverage in the office and in the community. It will be a role as leader when the Owner is not readily available.  

Comfort Keepers is a premier provider of in-home care services and is a rapidly growing organization. We offer our clients personal care, companionship, transportation services, and our caregivers flexible schedules, training programs, and a supportive working environment. 

Responsibilities:

• Work together with and provide direction to the Clinical Coordinators
• Assist in the office operation to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Correspond with clients, their families, doctors and caregivers regarding client welfare, and Comfort Keepers policies.
• Answer phones where necessary
• Make decisions quickly and decisively when needed.
• Be a role model for the office, conveying leadership and confidence, working together with the office staff, and instilling confidence and trust.
• Reporting to the Owner on a regular basis and as needed.
• Working with KPI’s to ensure that ‘scheduled billable hours’ are maintained and the office team work cohesively to push for new heights. 
• Review and pay attention to clients with ‘high hours’ and/or ‘specific needs’ on a daily basis
• Review schedule of new caregivers, follow up with visits in the field, evaluations, assist in the interview process, and the orientation processes. 
• Work full-time Monday – Friday.  Hours and days of work may fluctuate depending on office and client needs.
• Provide coverage for Owner when she is away, or there is high need in the office.

Qualifications: 

LPN or RN qualification.

Compensation:

This position will be classed as a salary position.  Key points are:

• Salary for this position is $75,000 on an annualized basis.  This is a starting wage and will be reviewed annually and increases awarded based on competency and proficiency.
• Vacation entitlement based on years of service.  Vacation entitlement – 2 weeks per year (10 days) paid annually
•  Incentive pay available based on company reaching KPI targets; payable quarterly. You will have the possibility of earning another $2,000 if quarterly targets are met. 
• RSP contributions matched by the Company, matching up to $100/per pay.  You will have RSP contributions of $2,600 matched by the Company each year. 
• Health and Welfare Benefits paid at 50% by the Company once 3 month probation is concluded.
