Through improved dental health and hygiene, today’s seniors are maintaining more of their natural teeth than elders of previous generations. While this deserves a smile, a mouthful of natural teeth is also reason for seniors to continue taking good oral hygiene seriously.
According to Stats Canada, seniors are the fastest growing group of users of the Internet. Email was the most common use of the Internet by seniors with 9 in 10 Internet users taking advantage of it. However, for those not yet at ease with going online, alternative technologies simplify computer functions to just the basics needed to exchange messages with loved ones.
Time management tips for seniors and elders: An in-home care companion can help a senior free up some time, assisting with daily chores, meal preparation, errands, grooming, and other tasks. Seniors can further reduce the stress that comes from demands on their time by practicing time management.
