Each Comfort Keeper goes through a strenuous screening process which includes a series of interviews, background checks and educational courses to ensure that they can provide the very best care and attention to our seniors. In addition to our screening process, all of our Comfort Keepers are also bonded, insured and provided Workers’ Compensation Insurance to protect our clients. Not only do we take extreme care in selecting our comfort care providers but we also work tirelessly to identify the best comfort keeper for your elder.

When determining which our comfort keepers will be matched with our seniors we take a variety of different factors into consideration including their individual personalities, interests and your seniors’ specific needs. Meet Our Comfort Care

Roger Martin
Owner

Roger Martin is the proud owner of Comfort Keepers Victoria which has won the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce Awards for “Outstanding Customer Service” and “Business of the Year”, as well as the Better Business Bureau’s Torch Award for Business Ethics & Integrity on multiple occasions. Roger has been working in seniors care for over seven years and is always looking to better support seniors in the community. During his free time Roger enjoys spending time with his niece and family while playing golf, cooking and reading.

Sally Snow
Scheduler

Sally joined Comfort Keepers July 2021 bringing with her over 15 years’ experience in LTC and Acute care as a Care Aid with Island Health. Her passions always been to take care of others, helping them find a reason to smile in difficult times. She loved to work with palliative patients as it is a gift to help patients find peace and comfort in their final moments. Sally comes from a big, blended family of 11 kids and is a  proud mom of two boys who have kept her busy over the years with sports. On her days off Sally enjoys road trips up island, cooking/entertaining, bon fires, glamping, watching football, bundling up with her cat Bubbs and being with family.

Margot McIntosh
Client Relations Manager  

Margo joined Comfort Keepers as the new Client Relations Coordinator in the fall of 2021. She is a Certified Professional Consultant on Aging, and her background includes 15 + years working with seniors in various capacities: Sales Manager for private independent/assisted living communities; Fund Development with Victoria Hospice, Client Services Coordinator for the Return to Health Program, past Board member for Silver Threads, and former program coordinator for Elder Friendly Community Network.  In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with friends & family, hiking with her dog Zoey, reiki and exploring alternative healing modalities.

Patricia Egresits
Client Care Coordinator 

Patricia joined the team in November 2018. She is originally from Switzerland and has experience in working as an RN in a private home care company for over 10 years. Patricia specializes in leading teams, care provision, standards-setting and customer service. Patricia enjoys working with people from different backgrounds and is driven to be efficient but also to provide client care services with her heart and soul. In her free time, Patricia enjoys being with her son and her husband. They love going for picnics to the beach, working in their garden and cooking for their friends.

Adeline Launay

Scheduler

From France, she arrived in Canada in 2020. Her work experience ranges from nursing homes to hotel management, which has lead her to develop a lot of compassion about client needs and focus on trying to find the best solution for them. Scheduling is something she enjoys, where she can make a person’s life more enjoyable by helping them having a caregiver in their daily life. She enjoys seeing clients and caregivers develop great relationships together. On her spare time, she likes to discover the island, hiking, go standup paddleboarding, and spend time with her friends since her family is far away.
